Boomerang is organised and run by children's workers and volunteers from several local churches, with the aim to provide a great community event each summer. Boomerang takes place across 3 venues:
St Anthony's School:

* For children in Reception, year 1 and year 2 (Wombats)
Locks Heath Free Church:
* For children in year 3 and year 4 (Surfers)
St Johns School:
* For children in year 5 and year 6 (Ayers Rock)
Session times for the groups are:
* Outback: 10:45am-12:15pm
* Wombats: 10:40am-12:20pm
* Surfers: 10:30am-12:30pm
* Ayers Rock: 10:20am-12:40pm
Each session is fun filled and action packed - all geared towards the age of your child. Sessions are led by gifted children's workers, and groups are run by a fantastic team of fully CRB checked volunteers. Sessions include games, crafts, quizzes and prizes, inflatables, songs, drama and sport, plus a drink and snack. Our fun theme for 2010 is Pirates! We will also be exploring stories from John's gospel - in a fun and relevant way.
The family fun night takes place on Friday 30th July, from 5pm-8pm at St Anthony's School. This is a great big party at the end of the Boomerang week to celebrate together. Expect heaps of fun with inflatables, a hog roast, BBQ, stalls, games, candy floss, ice cream and much more! A praise party also takes place at the end of the night (7pm) in the circus tent - a great way to sing songs from the week, have fun with quizzes and prizes and celebrate with the Boomerang team. The fun night is free entry- and includes free, unlimited use of the inflatables, games, crafts and activities. Just bring some money for your food!
